SM3 Electric Parking Brake Failure

I had a similar issue with my SM3. Is the system making any unusual noises when you try to engage or disengage the parking brake? Could be a simple system glitch, but also could be a more serious issue with the brake control module.

Nope, no warning signs at all, just stopped working. Best get it checked by a workshop before it becomes a vehicle safety problem. I ended up paying around 500€ for the repair, so prepare for that. Good luck!
