The vibration is noticeable, particularly at idle, but not excessively violent. Before replacing the entire mounting bracket, is there a way to specifically test the cable or plug connection, or should I just take it to a workshop?

Honestly, unless you're comfortable with auto electrics, I'd take it to a workshop. Could be a dodgy connection, sure, but if the mount itself is worn, you're just delaying the inevitable. A failed mount can also damage other components because of the extra vibration.

Understood. I will schedule an appointment with a trusted workshop to have it inspected. The estimated repair cost amounts to 95€. I appreciate your help!

Hey! I had something similar happen with my SM3. Rough idling outta nowhere. Check the mounting bracket itself. They can crack or the rubber can degrade, especially with our road conditions, which can cause vibration issues. Is the vibration really bad, like shaking the whole car?
