SM3 Power Window Failure
Summary of the thread
After replacing the battery on a 2019 Renault SM3 electric vehicle, the power windows stopped functioning, with an error indicating unsuccessful window regulator initialization. This issue seems to occur right after a battery swap, as experienced by others. The problem likely requires re-initialization of the window regulators, which typically necessitates a visit to a workshop equipped with the necessary tools.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Yes, exactly after the swap. Did you manage to solve this yourself, or did you need to visit a shop? I've checked the fuses, and they seem okay. Anything else you tried?

I tried fiddling with the window switch and looking for some kind of reset button, but no luck. In the end, I had to bite the bullet and take it to a workshop. They said something about re-initializing the window regulators. Is it worth the hassle to solve it yourself or is it better to visit the workshop?

Thanks for the info! Sounds like I'm heading to the shop, too. I wanted to avoid it, but re-initializing probably requires special tools. Shop visit done: 290€ later and the window regulators are happy again!

Strange! I drive an SM3 too. Did the windows stop working right after the battery swap? Sounds like what happened to me last year - the window controls just went dead after I disconnected the battery.
