SMAX Airbag Warning Light

I've got a 2014 Ford SMAX with a gasoline engine, and the airbag warning lamp is constantly lit in the speedometer. I've checked under the seats for loose connectors, and everything seems okay. Mileage is 91073 km. Any ideas what else to check before I take it in?

Sounds familiar! Had a similar airbag light issue with my old Renault Megane. Did you try checking the crash sensor connections? They can get corroded. Is the light always on, or does it flicker?

Thanks for the tip! Where exactly is the crash sensor located, and how easy is it to get to? The light is permanently on, no flickering at all.

On the Megane it was behind the front bumper, a real pain to get to. If the light's solid, it could be a faulty sensor or a wiring issue. Honestly, at this point, might be worth getting it scanned by a workshop. Could save you a headache.

Appreciate the advice. Took it to the shop and they found a defective plug connection. 95€ later and it's fixed. Thanks again!
