SMAX Engine Mount Defect

I have a Ford SMAX too, and I had a similar problem not long ago. The symptoms you describe mirror what I experienced. Was the error message specific to the transmission mount, or was it more generic?

The error message wasn't very specific, unfortunately. It pointed towards a general engine mount issue. I'm suspecting defective engine mount and not necessarily the transmission mount. Did yours specifically mention the transmission mount, or was it vague as well?

Mine was also vague, simply indicating a problem with the engine mount. Given the symptoms and the error, I'd suggest having it checked at a workshop. A defective engine can cause additional damage if not addressed promptly.

Thank you for the advice. I followed your suggestion and took it to a workshop. Indeed, the cable connection to the engine mount was defective. The repair cost came to around 95€. I appreciate your help!
