SMAX Power Window Failure

I'm having an odd issue with my 2017 Ford SMAX diesel. After replacing the battery, the power windows no longer operate. I've got an error stored related to window regulator initialization. Mileage is at 165085 km. Anyone experienced this before?

Weird. Had similar gremlins with my old Opel Astra after a battery swap. Central locking went bonkers. Did you check all the fuses?

Yeah, fuses are all good. The error code specifically points to a regulator initialization problem. Was your Opel's issue also related to initialization, or something else entirely?

Nah, mine was just totally haywire. In your case, sounds like you may need a garage visit to get it properly reset. Pain, I know.

Cheers. Looks like that's the way to go. Local workshop sorted it with a reset and recalibration of the window regulators. Cost me 290€, but at least it's fixed.
