SMAX Windshield Washer Heater Issue

I've got a 2018 Ford SMAX with a gasoline engine, and I'm pulling my hair out over this windshield washer heater! The car has 178128 km on it. Basically, I keep getting an error message, and when it's cold, the spray nozzles are totally frozen solid. I'm thinking it's probably a bad connection somewhere, like a cable or plug that's come loose. Anyone else seen this before?

I had a similar issue with my old Opel Corsa, though not exactly the same. It turned out to be a problem with the fuse box. Have you checked the fuse for the windshield washer heater specifically?

On my Corsa, it was difficult to tell without the manual. I suggest consulting your car’s manual. If the fuse is fine, it really sounds like a workshop job. They will quickly find the fault.
