Summary of the thread
A 2015 Hyundai Sonata with a diesel engine is experiencing battery issues, including error messages, weak lights, and difficulty starting, with error codes indicating low voltage. Terminals look okay, no corrosion. The battery is maybe 3 years old. Could it be the battery itself, or something else draining it?

Could be the battery, but in my case, it turned out to be a faulty battery sensor. That was causing the low battery warnings and eventually a dead battery. I'd suggest having a workshop check the charging system and the sensor.

Thanks for the suggestion. I had it checked out and you were right, it was the battery sensor. Repair including parts and labor came to 315€. All good now!

Sounds familiar. I had similar issues with my Sonata. Are you sure the battery terminals are clean and tight? Could be a bad connection. Is the battery relatively new?
