Turned out to be a module on the MOST bus. The shop said it was crashing the whole system. I'd recommend a workshop. MOST bus issues are a pain to track down.

Sounds familiar. My 2014 BMW 3 series iDrive system died – no radio, no navigation, nothing. Weird. Did you notice anything else acting up, like parking sensors?
