SpaceTourer auxiliary battery issue

I've got a 2019 Citroen SpaceTourer with a diesel engine and I'm having a weird issue. Keep getting an error message in the speedometer, and after plugging it in, there's an error stored related to the auxiliary battery. Starting the engine feels a bit weak, and there's been some general electrical wonkiness. I suspect the auxiliary battery isn't charging properly. Anyone else experienced something similar?

I had similar symptoms with a 2016 BMW 5 series. Turned out to be a voltage drop due to a faulty auxiliary battery. Does the SpaceTourer use it for start-stop or other auxiliary power?

Yeah, I think it's for the start-stop system and maybe some other electronics. So, the voltage drop was messing with everything? What was the exact issue with your BMW auxiliary battery, and how did you figure it out?

Confirmed; it affected everything controlled by the auxiliary power. My shop diagnosed a dead cell and a low voltage under load. I recommend you take your SpaceTourer to the workshop and get the auxiliary battery properly checked. A bad one can cause all kinds of electrical gremlins.

That's really helpful. I took it to the shop, and you were spot on. The auxiliary battery wasn't charging and had a dead cell. New battery installed, and everything's back to normal. Cost me 290€. Appreciate the advice!
