SpaceTourer ECU error code P0606

Hi, I'm having some trouble with my 2017 Citroen SpaceTourer diesel. It's got about 52345 km on the clock. Lately, I've noticed a significant reduction in engine power. I plugged it into a diagnostic tool, and it's showing an error stored in the error memory related to the engine control unit. I'm leaning towards a defective main relay. Has anyone else encountered similar ECU problems with their SpaceTourer?

ECU problems, huh? I also own a SpaceTourer, and I had a similar issue a while back. Reduced power and error codes. I'm no expert, but did you check all the basic stuff first, like battery voltage and the ECU connectors? What error code exactly did it throw?

Thanks for the reply! Yes, I checked the battery voltage; it seems fine. The error code is P0606 - Internal Control Module Processor. I've also inspected the ECU connectors for corrosion, but they look clean. Could you elaborate a bit more on what your issue was and how you resolved it? Was it the main relay after all?

Right, code P0606... sounds very familiar. I thought it was something minor at first, but it kept getting worse. Honestly, I spent ages trying to figure it out myself and it got me nowhere. In the end, I took it to a workshop, and they sorted it out quickly. Best to get it checked properly, is my advice.

Appreciate the advice! I was hoping to avoid the workshop, but it seems like the best course of action. Turns out, the main relay was indeed defective. Replaced it for 120€, and the SpaceTourer is running smoothly again. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
