SpaceTourer Power Window Failure

Switches aren't illuminated, no. Fuses all look good, checked them twice. So, if it's lost parameters, is that a dealer-only job to fix?

Okay, switches not illuminated points away from a simple fuse issue. When the BCM loses its window parameters, it's similar to a phone losing its Wi-Fi password – it needs to be told the correct settings again. While some advanced DIYers might have the software to reprogram the BCM, it's usually a specialist or dealer task as it requires specific diagnostic tools. Considering the error code and the symptoms, and unless you're very confident with car electronics, I recommend taking it to a workshop with Citroen diagnostic capabilities. You could spend hours chasing a ghost.

Booked it into a local specialist. They reinitialized the regulators; seems it just forgot the settings after the battery change. Cost me 290€, all sorted.

Interesting issue! Replacing the battery shouldn't directly cause this, but it can disrupt the car's electronics. It's like when you unplug a computer – sometimes it forgets things. I'm skeptical it's a regulator fault, more likely the Body Control Module (BCM) has lost its window parameters. Have you checked the window switches themselves? Are they illuminated? Also, are all the fuses related to the windows and the BCM intact?
