SpaceTourer Preheating Issue

My 2021 Citroen SpaceTourer diesel is giving me headaches. The preheating lamp won't switch off, the check engine light is on, and it smokes like crazy when I accelerate. I suspect it's the preheating control unit. Already checked the usual suspects, but I'm guessing it's a defective cable or plug. Anyone seen this before?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my old Opel Astra, though it wasn't diesel. Same symptoms though - lights, smoke... Could be a faulty connection somewhere in the car electronics. How many kilometers are on the clock?

It's sitting at 171161 km. You think it's definitely the wiring harness then? Did you manage to fix your Astra yourself?

Nah, gave up trying to fix the Opel myself. Electrics are a pain. Booked it into the workshop. Cost me around 80€ back then. Better safe than sorry, eh?

Appreciate the insight. I took it to the shop; faulty preheating control unit cable, just like I thought. 95€ and she's running sweet again.
