SpaceTourer software issue

I'm having a software issue with my 2022 Citroen SpaceTourer diesel, 119444 km on the clock. Error memory has a stored error, I'm seeing general electrical malfunctions, and the navigation is dead. Diagnostics point to implausible control unit programming. Anyone seen this?

Sounds frustrating. My car's a different beast – a 2018 Volvo XC60 – but I had similar problems last year. Random errors, frozen infotainment, even the parking sensors went haywire. Turned out to be a software glitch, specifically a corrupted engine control module (ECM) refresh. Think of it like a digital house of cards; one wrong card, the whole thing collapses. What troubleshooting have you tried?

Thanks for sharing. I haven't tried any troubleshooting beyond initial diagnostics, as I don't have the Citroen software recalibration tools. Can you explain how your Volvo was fixed? Was a simple software installation enough, or was more needed?

They needed to do a full software reflash of the ECM, at the dealership. The technician said it was like reinstalling the operating system, wiping and reloading a computer. Given the cost estimate you mentioned, it lines up with what I paid; a simple installation might not be enough if the programming is genuinely implausible. I'd strongly suggest a certified Citroen workshop; they have the right software and equipment to fix this safely.

I appreciate the insights. Based on your experience, I'll book an appointment with a certified Citroen workshop to sort out the software and get it recalibrated. Thanks for your help.
