SpaceTourer Stalling at Idle

Nah, definitely diesel. I always double-check, especially after a friend wrecked his engine doing just that! And I use the same station I've always used. Could a bad fuel filter cause this?

A fuel filter could potentially cause some issues, but usually you'd see other problems like rough running at higher speeds, not just stalling at idle. Honestly, that fuel composition error is pointing to something more specific, like a faulty sensor, or wiring issue. I'd say it's worth getting it checked by someone with the right diagnostic gear.

Thanks. I think you’re right – sounds like I'm in over my head. Took it to a local garage and they found a defective plug connection. 95€ later and she’s purring like a kitten again. They said the stored error code was definitely pointing to that. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Incorrect fuel composition, eh? That's a weird one. You sure you didn't accidentally put petrol in it? Or maybe got some dodgy fuel from a station?
