SpaceTourer transmission grinding

I've got a 2023 Citroen SpaceTourer diesel and I'm pulling my hair out. 81k km on the clock. The check engine light and transmission indicator are on, and it feels like the gearbox is slipping. Plus, I'm getting some nasty grinding noises when it shifts. Hooked it up to a code reader and it's throwing a transmission error. Thinking it might be the torque converter lock-up clutch. Anyone else seen this?

Sounds familiar. I've got a SpaceTourer too, and had similar symptoms last year. Slipping, grinding, the whole shebang. Was the grinding constant, or just during specific gear changes?

It's mostly noticeable between 3rd and 4th, and sometimes when downshifting to 2nd. Was that what you experienced? What was the fix in your case?

Yep, exactly the same gears! My local shop confirmed it was the torque converter. Bite the bullet and get it checked out properly – could save you bigger headaches down the road. I really hope you have warranty!

Thanks for the info! I took it to a shop, and you were spot on - torque converter failure. Repair cost me 2120€. At least it's sorted now.
