Spider air suspension failure

Hi, I'm having trouble with my 1998 Renault Spider (gasoline engine). The air suspension seems to have given up. The car won't lift, it's leaning, and I've got an error message. The ride is incredibly bumpy. I suspect the bellows valve is faulty. Has anyone else experienced this?

Summary of the thread

The 1998 Renault Spider is experiencing air suspension failure, causing the car to lean and produce a bumpy ride, accompanied by an error message. The suspected cause is a faulty bellows valve, confirmed by a workshop diagnosis. The recommended solution is to replace the bellows valve to restore proper suspension function.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Sounds like a classic air suspension issue. Is there an error code stored? If so, what is it? And how many kilometers are on the clock?

Yes, there is an error stored. I didn't write it down, but it definitely points to the air suspension. The car has 92159 km. Does this confirm your suspicions?

Yep, with those kilometers and the error code pointing to the air suspension, I'd bet a donut it's the bellows valve. I reckon you're looking at a workshop visit. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Thanks for the confirmation. I took it to the workshop, and you were right – faulty bellows valve. Repair will be around 590€. Thanks for the help!
