Spider Auxiliary Heater Fault

I've only checked the error memory. Accessing the glow plug for resistance testing is hard without special tools. Would a resistance check isolate the problem, or are there other possibilities?

A resistance check is indicative but not foolproof. However, a defective glow plug is the prime suspect. Further diagnosis without equipment is risky. A professional evaluation is needed to confirm the fault and prevent complications. Expect a repair around 440€.

A workshop visit confirmed the glow plug was the problem, as you suspected. The auxiliary heater works now. Thanks for the help.

The symptoms suggest a glow plug issue. Given the Spider's age, it's plausible. Have you checked the glow plug resistance with a multimeter?
