Spider electric seat fault

Thanks! I'll check the wiring. What exactly should I be looking for in the seat harness itself? And no, I haven't touched the battery recently, but it's been sitting a little while.

When inspecting the seat wiring, look for any obvious damage, crimped wires, or loose connectors. If you haven't touched the battery and the car has been sitting, a low voltage situation could still be the culprit, triggering a fault in the electric seat control module. Given the cost of diagnostic tools, it might be more efficient to take it to a workshop. The repair could amount to 290€.

Okay, thanks a lot for the advice! I'll check the wiring as best as I can, but it sounds like a trip to the shop is in order. I appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue with my Spider. Check the seat harness and wiring under the seat first. A loose connection there can trigger the error. Also, did you recently have the battery disconnected or worked on?
