Wiring harness, huh? Where exactly am I looking for that? Is it a big bundle of wires or something? I wouldn't want to accidentally pull something else out!

The wiring harness for the steering column adjustment will typically be a bundle of wires leading directly to the motor responsible for the electric adjustment. Given your expressed concerns, it would be prudent to have a qualified technician inspect the connections. A diagnostic assessment would confirm the malfunction and prevent unintended complications.

Thanks a ton! Turns out it WAS a dodgy connector, just like you said. Workshop charged me 95€ to sort it, but at least it's fixed. Appreciate the advice!

The symptoms you describe for your 2014 Chevrolet Spin suggest a fault within the electric steering column adjustment system. The stored error and lack of adjustment point toward an electrical issue. Could you verify the integrity of the wiring harness and connector leading to the steering column adjustment motor? A loose or damaged connection is a plausible cause.
