Spin Mixture Preparation Error
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Chevrolet Spin diesel exhibited a 'mixture preparation error' at 94,954 kilometers, leading to reduced engine power, a check engine light, rough running, jerking during acceleration, and stalling at idle. Initial checks of the mass airflow sensor and throttle body revealed no issues. Suggestions included examining the fuel pressure regulator and air filter, as both could affect the air-fuel mixture. Ultimately, a defective injector was identified and replaced, resolving the problem.

I haven't checked the fuel pressure regulator yet. Could a faulty regulator cause all these symptoms, including stalling at idle? The air filter looks clean, but could a partially obstructed filter really cause this much performance loss? How much of an impact could these components have?

A bad fuel pressure regulator can cause inconsistent fuel delivery, leading to all sorts of problems you're describing. Even a seemingly okay air filter can restrict airflow enough to throw off the air-fuel mixture, especially under load. It's worth checking properly, but honestly, with those symptoms and the error code, it really does sound like an injector issue. At this point, going to a workshop might be best.

Following your recommendation, I took the car to a workshop, and a defective injector was found. The replacement and recalibration cost 515€ and fixed the problem. Your advice helped speed up the diagnosis. Thanks.

Sounds like a fuel delivery problem. Have you checked the fuel pressure regulator? Also, what's the condition of your air filter? A clogged filter can mess with the air-fuel ratio and cause similar symptoms.
