Spin NOx Sensor Faulty Connection Suspected
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Chevrolet Spin owner is experiencing a check engine light issue, with diagnostics indicating a potential problem with the NOx sensor or an exhaust leak. Despite the vehicle's low mileage, the owner suspects a faulty connection might be the cause. Another individual with a similar issue suggests that a professional check-up at a workshop might be necessary to resolve the problem. The owner plans to have a mechanic inspect the NOx sensor and connections.

Engine performance seems fine, and fuel consumption is normal. What error code did you get, and did you also think it was a cable or plug problem, like my report suggests?

Now that you mention the error code and connection, I remember. My error code also pointed to the NOx sensor. I tried messing with it for hours, but without a workshop, it was useless. I'd recommend a check-up at your local workshop.

Thanks for the advice. I'll book an appointment with a mechanic to check the NOx sensor and connections. The estimated repair is about 95€, so hopefully, that fixes it. Thanks again.

I can relate. My Spin is older, but I had similar issues. The check engine light would come on and off. Is the engine running rough, or is your fuel consumption different?
