Sprinter brake issue

Spongy is right, like wrestling an octopus. I did bleed the brakes recently. Could a bad bleed really damage the pressure sensor? It seems extreme.

That's what happened to me. Apparently, if you don't bleed them correctly on these Sprinters, it can mess with the pressure sensor. It’s like forcing too much water through a small pipe. I'm no expert, but get it checked by someone who knows these brakes well. It might prevent bigger problems.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop, and you were right. Incorrect bleeding ruined the pressure sensor. Replacement and labor cost 90€. I'm back on the road and braking well.

That sounds bad. I had a similar issue with my Sprinter, though I don't recall the exact year. Does the brake pedal feel spongy, like stepping on a marshmallow? It could be air in the hydraulic brakes. It's like trying to push a rope, all force but no action. Have you bled the brakes or had any work on the brake lines recently?
