Corrosion on the battery terminals could cause that? I saw an error in the speedometer too, and the engine was struggling to start. Where exactly should I look for corrosion?

Yes, corrosion on the battery terminals can definitely cause a discharged battery or a low battery situation because it creates resistance and prevents the battery from charging properly. Given the error message and starting issues, it sounds like a defective battery sensor. The error stored in the error memory is also a strong indicator. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop for a diagnosis. They can check the battery sensor, the charging system, and look for any parasitic draws. It's not always easy to diagnose electrical problems without the right equipment.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to the workshop, and you were right, it was the battery sensor. They replaced it for 315€. Now everything is working fine again. Really appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue with my Mercedes Sprinter. The discharged battery and flickering lights point to a potential problem with the charging system or a parasitic drain. Have you checked the vehicle battery terminals for corrosion or loose connections? A low battery can cause all sorts of weird electrical issues.
