Sprinter Headlight Range Control Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Mercedes Sprinter is experiencing a headlight range control fault, causing the main beam to shine incorrectly. The issue is suspected to be related to the auto-leveling system. A defective servomotor within the headlight assembly is identified as the likely cause, rather than a control module issue. Replacing the servomotor resolves the problem, restoring the lighting system to normal functionality.

Yes, there is an error code stored, but I don't have it right now. As for beam adjustment issues, not really. Could this be a control module issue, or is it more likely to be something mechanical?

Given that you're getting an error code and haven't had prior issues, I suspect a defective servomotor within the headlight assembly. The control module is a possibility, but the servomotor is the more common culprit. It's not a simple fix, and I ended up going to a workshop.

You nailed it! It was indeed a defective servomotor in the headlight. 1040€ later, the lighting system is back to normal. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

The symptoms you describe sound similar to a problem I had with my Sprinter. Is there an error code stored? Also, have you had any issues with the beam adjustment before?
