Sprinter Tire Pressure ABS and Steering Problems

Thank you for your response. I have not specifically inspected the tire sensor units. How would one go about checking those for leaks? Is there a particular area around the sensor that is prone to failure?

The valve stem where the tire sensor is attached is a common point of failure. A professional can submerge the tire and sensor area to check for bubbles, pinpointing the air leak. Given the ABS involvement and steering issues, it is best to have it checked by a workshop. I suspect a faulty tire sensor or valve will be found. My repair cost was about 280€.

Thank you very much for the advice! I followed your suggestion and took the Sprinter to a workshop. As suspected, a defective valve in one of the tires was indeed the culprit, causing a slow air leak. This triggered the tire pressure warning and subsequently interfered with the ABS and power steering systems. Replacing the valve and resetting the tire monitoring system resolved the issue. The total cost was 280€. I appreciate your assistance in diagnosing the problem.

That sounds familiar. I had similar symptoms on my Sprinter. Have you inspected the tire sensor units themselves? An air leak around the sensor can cause these issues, triggering both the tire pressure warning and potentially affecting the ABS due to the wheel speed discrepancies.
