Stagea brake pedal feedback

I'm experiencing a strange issue with my 2002 Nissan Stagea (gasoline engine, 190870km). The brake system is giving me odd feedback through the pedal. I suspect undervoltage may be the culprit, potentially affecting the ABS. Has anyone else encountered similar behavior in their Stagea's brake system?

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my Stagea's brakes. Felt like the pedal was fighting back, right? Did you check the brake fluid level and inspect the brake lines for any leaks? Mine ended up being related to corrosion in the brake calipers.

Yes, exactly! Like the pedal is resisting. The brake fluid level is fine, and I didn't spot any obvious leaks. I'll check the calipers more closely. What specifically was the issue with your calipers? Disc brakes looked alright.

Turns out the corrosion was causing uneven pressure, and the ABS was going nuts trying to compensate. Honestly, I'd take it to a workshop; brake system issues aren't worth messing around with. Cost me around 240€ to get it sorted. Good luck!

Appreciate the advice. Based on your experience, I'll get it checked out by a professional. It turned out to be the same: corrosion in the calipers causing undervoltage in the system. They cleaned everything, and the problem's gone. 240€ well spent!
