Stagea Fault Memory Lock Active Error
Summary of the thread
A 2005 Nissan Stagea is experiencing a 'Fault memory lock active' error, indicating an error is stored but not specifying the issue. The problem may be related to the control unit experiencing under-voltage, possibly due to a dodgy battery. The suggested solution is to have the vehicle checked at a workshop, where they can reset the control unit and address any voltage issues.

Yeah, cleared the codes, but it comes right back. Forgetful is a good way to put it! Control unit, huh? Anything specific with that you had to do? Like a specific module or something?

Yeah, control unit. I wouldn't say specific module - more like the whole thing was acting up. Under-voltage, they reckoned. Like trying to run a marathon after only charging your batteries halfway. Ended up having to get it sorted at a workshop. You might want to get it checked out before you start throwing parts at it.

Cheers! Under-voltage makes sense... Battery's been a bit dodgy lately. Bit the bullet and took it to the auto repair. They found the undervoltage and reset the control unit. Cost me 240€ but she's back to her old self again!

Sounds like when my Stagea had a brain fart. Is it acting like it's lost its keys, kinda forgetful? I'm betting it's something to do with your control unit having a mini-meltdown. Have you tried clearing the fault codes and seeing if it pops up again?
