Stagea Windshield Wipers Not Working

Windshield wipers on my 2005 Nissan Stagea (gasoline engine) are dead, and there's an error stored. I'm guessing a bad cable or plug. Anyone seen this with the rain sensor or wiper switch wiring? Trying to avoid replacing the whole thing without digging deeper.

Had something similar on my old Volvo. Wipers just quit, no warning. Did you check the fuses?

Fuses are good. The error code points to the wiper motor circuit itself. Did your Volvo throw error codes, or was it just a dead system?

No codes on mine, just dead. Turned out to be a bad connection. Might be worth having a workshop take a look before you start replacing parts.

I suspected as much. Scheduled an appointment with a technician; they quoted 95€ for diagnostics and fixing the connection. Thanks for confirming my thoughts.
