Starting problems on BMW 3 after replacing spark plugs and coils
(Translated from Spanish)
Summary of the thread
A 2009 BMW 3 is experiencing starting issues after replacing spark plugs and coils. Initially, the car started but misfired, and after changing the coils, it won't start at all. A potential cause identified is a fuel system issue, indicated by the code 00A10A, which may involve the fuel pump or its relay and fuse. Suggested solutions include checking the battery voltage, ensuring coil connections are secure, and inspecting the fuel pump's operation and related components.

I put a new battery but it still does not start, there is no warning light and no code, the only one that appears after scanning is 00A10A.

The code 00A10A typically relates to the fuel pump or fuel system. Check if you can hear the fuel pump priming when you turn the ignition on. If not, inspect the fuel pump relay and fuse. If the pump is not working, it might need replacement. Keep me updated on your findings or if you have more questions!

Check the battery voltage first to ensure it's fully charged, as a weak battery can prevent the car from starting. If the battery is fine, inspect the connections to the coils to ensure they are properly seated and connected. Let me know how it goes or if you have further questions!
