Stilo Air Suspension Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2004 Fiat Stilo with a diesel engine is experiencing issues with its air suspension, causing the car to lean to one side and display an error message. The problem is likely due to a faulty air suspension bellows valve, which controls airflow and affects the vehicle's ride height. The suggested solution is to have the valve checked and repaired at a workshop to prevent further suspension failure. The issue was confirmed and resolved at a cost of 590€.

I haven't noticed any hissing. Is it a big job to fix?

Well, the hissing might be hard to hear, especially if it's a slow leak. With those symptoms, it's pretty likely the valve is the problem. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop to get it checked out properly. Could be dangerous if the suspension fails completely while driving.

Thanks for the advice. Took it to a shop, and you were right, it was the bellows valve. Cost me 590€ to get it fixed.

Sounds like a faulty air suspension bellows valve, letting air out of the system. The bellows valve controls the airflow into the air struts which dictates the vehicle's ride height. I had a similar issue with my old Citroen C4. Is there any hissing sound coming from the suspension?
