Stilo Radar Sensor Error

I have a perplexing issue with my 2004 Fiat Stilo diesel. At 191327 km, it's been reliable, but I'm having problems with what I think is the radar sensor. Error message in the speedometer, error stored in memory, failure of systems like adaptive cruise control, and a warning light. I suspect a dirty sensor. Has anyone else seen this?

Sounds familiar. I had something similar on my old Volvo V70. Weird errors popping up related to the safety systems made me think the whole car was about to explode. Did you check if the sensor is physically damaged, like a crack?

I didn't poke around too much myself. I just remember alerts lighting up the dash and the cruise control not working. I'd suggest looking, but it might be worth getting a professional to scan the system to save yourself the headache.

I appreciate the advice. I'll check the sensor for damage, but if I don't find anything, I'll see a technician. The issue was resolved by cleaning the sensor, at a cost of 45€.
