Strada Blower Motor AUC Sensor Fault
Summary of the thread
The blower motor in a 2018 Fiat Strada was not functioning, and diagnostics indicated an AUC sensor fault. A possible cause was identified as a defective cable or plug connection to the sensor. It was suggested to inspect the connections, but professional diagnostics were recommended due to system complexity. Ultimately, the issue was resolved by fixing a loose connection on the sensor, confirming the initial suspicion.

So, you're saying a dodgy connection on the AUC sensor COULD stop the blower? Is it worth checking the plug myself before I shell out cash?

Confirmation of the precise fault would necessitate diagnostic procedures beyond the scope of this forum. While inspecting the connections is advisable, the system's complexity suggests that professional diagnostic equipment may be required. I suggest visiting a workshop.

Cheers! Ended up being a loose connection on the sensor, just like you said. Workshop charged me 95€ to fix it. Could have been worse!

The Air Quality Sensor, also known as an odor sensor or, in some vehicles, a cabin air sensor, does interact with the climate control system. A defective cable or plug connection to the component is a plausible cause. However, the blower motor circuit itself should also be inspected to eliminate other potential faults.
