Thanks. I checked the antenna base visually, and it looks okay. But with these symptoms, I'm wondering if I need to check it more closely, maybe with electrical tests? Did you have to get yours professionally fixed?

Yes, it did. I initially tried cleaning the contacts myself, but the problem persisted. Eventually, I took it to a workshop. They diagnosed a faulty connection within the antenna module itself and advised replacement. Considering the symptoms you're describing and your mileage, a professional diagnosis might be the most efficient route. Better to know for sure before throwing parts at it!

Thanks for the advice. Sounds like I should get it checked out by a mechanic. The estimate is around 95€.

Interesting. I have a Fiat Strada too, though a newer model. I had similar symptoms a while back - the remote key stopped working intermittently and I got some weird errors popping up on the dashboard. Did you check the antenna base for any corrosion or damage?
