Strada Fault Code after Chip Tuning
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Fiat Strada with a gasoline engine is experiencing reduced power and fault codes, likely due to chip tuning modifications by a previous owner. The chip tuning may have set incorrect parameters, causing the engine to enter limp mode. The recommended solution is to visit a workshop to have the ECU checked and reset to its original settings, which resolved the issue and restored the vehicle's performance.

Yeah, the previous owner mentioned something about chip tuning. Is that likely the culprit, then? How did you resolve your issue?

Based on my experience and the symptoms you are describing, the chip tuning is almost certainly the cause of your problems. If the parameters are set incorrectly, it can lead to reduced engine power and fault codes. I would strongly suggest visiting a workshop to have the ECU checked and possibly reflashed to the original settings.

I took it to a shop; you were spot on. Faulty chip tuning. They reset the ECU, and it's running like new. Cost me 180€ Appreciate the help!

I also own a Fiat Strada. Your symptoms sound a lot like what I experienced. Have you had any aftermarket modifications done to the ECU, such as chip tuning? This can often cause the issues you described.
