Strada Headlight Washer Failure
Summary of the thread
The headlight and windshield washer system on a 2006 Fiat Strada is malfunctioning, with fuses already checked and found to be fine. A possible cause could be a corroded connector or faulty cable connection at the pump, which might be shared by both systems. Inspecting the pump and its connections is suggested, but due to the complexity of diagnosing electrical issues, visiting a workshop might be necessary.

A corroded connector, huh? Where exactly is that pump located? Is it easy to get to? I'm not exactly a master mechanic, but I'm willing to give it a shot if it's not too complicated.

On my Volvo it was near the bottom of the washer fluid reservoir, accessible from underneath the car. Given the shared symptoms, it's worth inspecting the pump and its connections, but without proper tools and knowledge, diagnosing electrical issues can be tricky. I ended up taking mine to a workshop.

Thanks! I appreciate the insight. Sounds like I'm heading to the workshop, too. Estimate is around 165€, so hopefully that's the end of it. Fingers crossed!

That sounds frustrating! I had a similar issue with my old Volvo V70. The headlight washers and windshield washers shared a pump, and when the pump's connector corroded, neither worked. It could be a faulty cable connection of the pump or even a defective relay.
