Strada passenger seat malfunction
Summary of the thread
The passenger seat in a 2004 Fiat Strada was malfunctioning, showing an error despite the fuses being fine. The issue was traced to a weak or defective battery, which, although capable of starting the car, was insufficient for seat adjustment. Replacing the battery resolved the problem, restoring seat functionality.

Thanks! The car starts fine, but I don't use it daily. How did you know it was the battery? Same symptoms?

Yes, exactly the same symptoms: error message and no seat adjustment. Even though the car started, the battery was weak enough to cause the seat issue. I'd recommend a battery test or a workshop visit.

I took it to a workshop, and it was a heavily discharged, defective battery. They replaced it, and now the seat works perfectly. The repair cost 290€. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

I had a similar issue with my Strada. Does it happen after the car has been sitting? Mine was battery-related. Is your battery in good condition?
