Hey, yes, that really was quite a number. So, replacing the automatic transmission torque converter cost me a hefty €2120 at the time. But since the visit to the mechanic, the malfunction of the torque converter lock-up clutch has been rectified and the Benz drives like a dream again. Nothing else has come up since then.
