Supra PCV Valve Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Toyota Supra is experiencing issues such as a check engine light, reduced engine power, and visible smoke during acceleration at 99,111 km. Initial diagnostics suggest a malfunctioning crankcase ventilation valve. A similar case was resolved by replacing a defective PCV valve, which was stuck and not functioning properly. The recommended solution is to have the vehicle inspected and repaired by a professional.

Interesting analogy. I've visually inspected the valve, and it seems okay, but I haven't tested its functionality beyond that. What exactly did you end up doing to fix your issue?

I wasn't able to fix it by myself, so I took it to a workshop. They confirmed the PCV valve was defective. It’s like a gate that's supposed to open and close at the right times, but it got stuck. I would suggest you do the same.

Thanks, that's helpful. I appreciate the insight. I'll get it checked out by a professional. The estimated repair cost is around 360€ including part and labor.

I had something similar happen on my Supra. Wasn't the exact same symptoms, but it felt like the engine was struggling, like trying to run a marathon with a blocked nose. Have you checked the PCV valve itself? Sometimes it's just a simple case of gunk buildup.
