Supra Power Window Failure

I'm pulling my hair out. My 2002 Toyota SupraIV with a gasoline engine has an electrical issue. After replacing the car battery, the power windows stopped working. I can't operate any of them. A diagnostic shows an error related to the window regulator initialization being unsuccessful. The car has 176472 km. Has anyone run into something similar?

I had a similar problem with my Supra. I replaced the battery and suddenly the windows wouldn't respond. Do you see any other electrical issues?

Thanks for the quick reply! Nothing else seems to be affected, just the windows. Did you manage to fix it yourself, or did you end up taking it to a shop? What exactly was the cause?

I took it to a workshop. It turned out to be something with the window regulator needing to be reprogrammed after the battery change. They had to use a diagnostic tool to re-initialize it. Probably best to take it somewhere that can diagnose properly.

Okay, I appreciate the advice! I was hoping to avoid the workshop, but it sounds like I don't have much of a choice. Will schedule an appointment. The repair ended up costing 290€. Thanks again!
