SupraIV ABS and Stability Control Issues

I'm having some issues with my 2023 Toyota SupraIV gasoline. Mileage is at 166837 km. The ABS lamp lights up, the ABS system fails, and there's an error stored related to the lateral acceleration sensor. Suspect control unit might be defective. Anyone else experienced this?

Whoa, sounds familiar! I had almost the EXACT same symptoms on my SupraIV a while back. ABS light, system failure, the works. Diagnostic scan pointed to the lateral sensor too. Is your electronic stability control acting up at all? Traction control?

Yeah, the stability control seems off. Traction control also seems less effective. What did you end up doing to fix yours?

Okay, definitely sounds like the same issue. Mine ended up being a faulty control unit, like you suspected. Honestly, I'd recommend getting it checked out at a trusted workshop. In my case, the repair cost around 1000€. It's not cheap, but crucial for safety. Best to get a professional diagnosis to confirm and not drive too much like that.

Appreciate the info. Looks like a workshop visit is in order. Thanks for confirming the likely cause and the heads-up on the repair cost. Will post a resolution once it's sorted.
