SupraIV Brake Booster Pressure Sensor Error

I'm seriously pulling my hair out! My 2023 Toyota SupraIV, gasoline engine, is throwing up a brake booster pressure sensor error. I'm only at 24634 km! The error message pops up on the speedometer, and the braking feels weak. I scanned it, and there's an error stored. Could this be an ABS system issue? I'm so frustrated; I baby this car!

Summary of the thread

A 2023 Toyota SupraIV is experiencing a brake booster pressure sensor error, leading to weak braking and an error message on the speedometer. The issue may be linked to a recent brake line flush, suggesting incorrect bleeding could have affected the sensor. The solution involved re-bleeding the brake system correctly and replacing the faulty sensor, which resolved the problem.

Whoa, that sucks! I had something similar happen with my old Audi A4. Same symptoms – error message and mushy brakes. Did you recently mess with the brake system, like bleed the brakes or anything? It could be that the brake system wasn't bled correctly. Just a thought.

Bleed the brakes? Hmmm, I did have the brake lines flushed a couple of weeks ago. You think that could really cause a brake booster sensor to fail? Seems like a weird connection, but I'm not ruling anything out at this point. What was the resolution in your case?

Yeah, man, that's what happened to me. After the brake flush, the shop messed something up, and the brakes never felt the same. Eventually, the sensor went haywire. I'd get it checked out by a proper workshop; messing with the brake system isn't worth risking vehicle safety. In the end, they had to replace a bunch of parts.

Thanks for the info! It seems like the brake bleeding was indeed the problem. Took it to a different mechanic, and they confirmed the incorrect bleeding had messed up the sensor. They re-bled the system properly and replaced the faulty sensor (part cost me about 90€). Everything's back to normal now. Appreciate the help!
