Sylphy AC failure

My 2018 Nissan Sylphy (electric engine) is having major AC issues. Mileage is at 58531 km. The AC just stopped cooling, and now the whole system won't even switch on. I'm suspecting a defect in the valves. Anyone else run into this? I've checked the fuses, and they seem okay. I'm dreading a refrigerant leak, but I don't hear any unusual AC noise. This is a nightmare!

I had a similar problem with my Sylphy. Those symptoms sound familiar. Did you notice any changes in temperature control before it went out completely?

Good to know I'm not alone! No, the temperature control seemed fine right up until it died. Any chance you remember what the culprit was in your case? I'm trying to avoid getting fleeced by some random AC diagnostics specialist.

Yeah, same here – temp control was normal. In my case, it ended up being faulty valves. Given that yours won't even switch on, you should probably have it checked at a workshop, might be the same issue, and I ended up paying around 1000€ for repairs. They'll be able to properly diagnose it.
