Sylphy random error lights
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Nissan Sylphy hybrid is experiencing random error lights, system freezes, and issues with audio and navigation. The problem may be due to a loose cable connection affecting the vehicle's control units. A similar issue was resolved in another car by checking and securing the cable harness, which is suggested as a potential solution. Booking a professional inspection is recommended to address the problem effectively.

Yeah, scanned it, and it throws a code, but it's super vague and doesn't pinpoint anything specific. Did your Volvo throw similar vague codes, and did it point to anything?

Yep, vague codes aplenty. Turned out to be a dodgy cable connection to one of the control units messing with the BUS system – like a loose wire causing all sorts of havoc. Best get it checked by someone who knows their stuff. My repair cost was pretty similar. Cost me about 160€

Cheers for the help. I'll book it in with the shop, sounds like a cable. Your experience with the Volvo is a great analogy. Mechanic confirmed. Seems like the cable harness to the main infotainment was loose. Repair cost: 155€

Sounds like gremlins, eh? I had similar issues on my old 2018 Volvo V60. Weird system failures, like a Christmas tree on the dashboard. Ever scanned with an OBD-II reader? Might give you a clue, I did, but still had to get it sorted.
