Sylphy seat massage not working

Hi, I've got a 2005 Nissan Sylphy with a gasoline engine. The massage function in my seat stopped working. I can't switch it on at all. I scanned it and there's an error stored in the error memory related to the seat massage system. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hey! Interesting issue. I've not heard of that specifically on a Sylphy, but luxury features can be finicky. Have you checked the fuse box for any blown fuses related to the seats or massage function? It might be a simple fix.

Thanks for the suggestion! I did check the fuses, and they all seem to be fine. Is it possible the switch itself is faulty? Or maybe a loose connection somewhere under the seat?

It's definitely possible the switch is faulty, or there's a bad connection. Given the error code, a defective cable or plug connection is likely. Honestly, diagnosing electrical issues can be tricky without the right tools. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. They should be able to pinpoint the problem pretty quickly.

Thanks a lot for your help! I took it to a local workshop, and you were right – it was a defective plug connection. They replaced it, and the massage seat is working again. The repair cost me about 95€. Appreciate the advice!
