Tacoma Brake Light Issue

Alright, I'm stumped. My 2009 Toyota Tacoma with a gasoline engine is throwing me for a loop. The brake lights aren't working, I'm getting an error in the infotainment system, and the error memory is storing a fault. Any ideas? Could I have screwed something up while installing a new head unit?

Brake lights, eh? Have you checked the brake light switch itself?

I haven't yet. Where is it located? Is that something I could even replace myself?

It's usually near the brake pedal. But if you're getting errors, maybe just get it checked.

Turns out it was the brake light switch. Somehow I managed to dislodge it when messing with the wiring for the stereo. Popped it back in, and everything's working fine. No more errors! Thanks!
