Tacoma Hybrid Brake Booster Pressure Sensor Failure

Has anyone experienced a brake booster pressure sensor failure on their 2023 Toyota Tacoma Hybrid? I've got 180546 kilometers on it, and I'm getting an error message, poor braking, and an error stored in the memory. I suspect incorrect brake bleeding might have contributed.

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I have a Tacoma myself (though, not the hybrid version), and I had something like that happen last year. It's like when you're trying to stop but the brakes feel all spongy and the truck just keeps going! Did the error message pop up suddenly, or did it start gradually?

The error message appeared rather suddenly, with the brake performance degrading noticeably at the same time. There was no gradual onset. Were your symptoms identical, and if so, what was the resolution?

Yep, same deal. One minute everything was fine, the next it felt like I was trying to stop a train with a sponge. I took it to a workshop, and they sorted it out pretty quickly. I'd suggest getting yours checked out before it gets any worse. Brakes are not something to play around with!

Thanks for sharing your experience and recommendation. I appreciate the insight and will schedule an appointment with a trusted workshop to diagnose the issue. The anticipated repair cost, including parts and labor, is approximately 90€. Vehicle safety is, of course, paramount. Your input has been most helpful.
