Tacoma Sunroof Failure

Has anyone experienced sunroof issues on a 2023 Toyota Tacoma hybrid? Mine has 62k km, and the sunroof is bugged. The sunblind gets stuck, and the convertible top won't open or close. The blind also doesn't retract or extend. I suspect it's related to recent coding.

I had a similar problem with my Tacoma. No coding done, but the symptoms sound familiar. I had issues with my sunroof not initializing properly. Is it making any noises when you try to operate it?

Yeah, it makes a clicking sound, almost like it's trying to move but something is blocking it. Did yours do that too? What did you end up doing to fix it?

Yep, clicking sounds were exactly what I experienced. I tried a few things, but nothing really worked. I took it to the workshop. Turns out, the system needed a proper reset and recalibration. It was a quick job for them.

Thanks for the info! Sounds like a trip to the shop is in order. I just got it back. They reinitialized the sunroof and everything is working fine now. Bill came out to 75€. Appreciate the help!
