Right, good point. I didn't pull the code yet. I'll check that in the morning. And no, there's no noise at all when I hit the button. Just...nothing.

Silent failure and a stored code points squarely to the motor then. You could test the wiring integrity, but it's more than likely an internal fault within the sunblind motor assembly. Budget for a replacement.

Appreciate the insight. Ended up taking it to a local shop, and you nailed it – dead motor. Quoted me 330€ for the repair. Bit steep, but at least it's fixed.

Possible. Have you checked the error code itself? Any specifics there? A motor failure should present a specific open or short circuit fault in most modern modules. Does it make any noise when you attempt to actuate it?
