Talento AdBlue Empty Error No Start
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Fiat Talento diesel is experiencing a no-start issue due to an AdBlue tank empty error displayed on the dashboard. The problem may be related to the AdBlue output from the tank to the dosing unit. A similar issue in another vehicle was resolved by addressing a clogged AdBlue injector, suggesting this could be a potential cause. It is recommended to consult a qualified technician for diagnosis and repair to avoid further complications.

Clogged injector, huh? Interesting. I hadn't thought of that. Where is the injector located, and is it easy to get to? Are any special tools needed?

The AdBlue injector is typically located in the exhaust system, downstream of the diesel particulate filter. Access can vary; it might be easily accessible, or it might require removing some components for better access. Given the complexity and potential for damage, I would strongly suggest consulting a qualified technician for diagnosis and repair. You could end up doing more damage than good. The repair bill could be about 250€.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I'm gonna take it to a workshop. Seems more complicated than I initially thought. Better safe than sorry! I will report back here for future reference. Thanks again!

This sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my 2016 Citroen C4. Same symptoms: dashboard alert related to diesel exhaust fluid, engine refusing to start, error codes... Have you checked the AdBlue injector itself? In my case, the injector was clogged solid, preventing proper DEF fluid delivery.
